My apartment is opposite the O2 so I have a perfect view of the utter chaos there. Sooner or later a lorry isnt going to make it over the bridge and its game over.

Yeah but are you taking video of the mayhem!? :D

I love the mets forcast for today:

Cold and icy today. Some further snow showers also, a few heavy, but not as bad as yesterday. Some dry bright spells too, with even a little sunshine. Highs of -1 to plus 2 C.

You haven't been to Snowdymount in D4 then! :)

Still snowing here in Rialto. I'm meant to be cycling over to a friend near Dorset Street this evening. Is this wise or even possible?

Seriously??? I wouldn't risk it myself.

I saw one guy on a bike earlier get a wheel stuck in a covered shore and do a faceplant into the road while I was waiting for a bus. Not a pretty sight.

He was still lying there when the bus came fifteen minutes later.

    Good luck!

Coming down heavy here, hail/ snow.

    Rush hour will be awful.

Maybe a few hours more for North Leinster.

I hate to act all human and concerned but did nobody check on him during that 15 mins to see was he alright? I suppose the bus drove right over him too. :D

Way more than that I reckon. OH cleared the drive, also D16 - and there's a fresh 1.5 inches in last hour alone

Just cleaned about 8 inches of snow off a table in the back garden
Interesting to see how much more will come down

Yeah, the latest radar show no sign of snow stopping for places that are already getting it . Dublin is in serious trouble here.

those clouds hitting lucan. Things bad already but if these clouds are heavy, Lucan will be a total mess!

Should I expect much from these clouds?

It'll fall as snow but forecast indicates South and South West regions will have snow turn to rain early in the morning.

We've had 2 inches since 1pm here in Dublin 8. There's a temporary pause at the moment, but there'll be more soon, according to the radar.
