Want to buy my other half a new phone for Christmas. He's not gentle with his phone and does work on a site so want to get something durable (but in this century if ya know what I mean ;-)

He's a fan of Nokia phones, but I don't think they do a builders phone, I'm thinking of the JCB phone. Has anyone used a JCB phone? are they user friendly?

    Any advice appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the reply, but this phone is exactly why he needs a new one........

If anyone is thinking of buying this DON'T, it's the worst phone that I've ever used, apart from the bad sound, it's completely user unfriendly.

Anyone used this? is it a bit overkill???

Glad I asked, what a waste of money this would've been.

Just get a phone with a smallish screen and buy a very strong crystal hard plastic case and a leather pouch for it. Most of those "durable" phones are vastly overpriced and have almost twentieth century specs.
