Coming up from Cork tomorrow for 2 nights to go to the Gate Friday and the Academy Saturday. Staying in Parnell St, and as long as we can get to the main shopping areas and to the gigs we will be happy! While we may be cold and hit by snow :O, is it so bad that you can't even walk around? - caus that's what the news etc. is making it out to be! I'm hoping the fact that we are getting a train at 10.30 means the worst of ice etc will be gone at least temporarily. Essentially what should I expect!?

You can walk around alright, but would need the right footwear. I have nice big snow boots which are perfect for walking. When you wrap up it isn't that cold. The snow level, at this very moment, is over a foot in most places that haven't been driven on or walked on. Apparently another big snowfall is due in the morning, and with temperatures set to hit -12 tonight, I can't see any let up even by the end of the weekend

Once your careful with your footing I reckon you'll be fine walking. Haven't been out in it today, but I have every other day this week

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test
