Best bet is to find a shop in the US to ship it; if not you've got a long list of restricted goods etc. to deal with.

Importing meat products into the US requires a licence. So unless you can find a seller that's based within the US, or your relations have a licence to import meat, it's not going to happen.

My mother uses Galtee every year to send Irish breakfasts to the US and they're very reliable.

I'm not sure how to search for a new post here but i really need help with this. My friends have recently moved to the uk and are dying for a full irish breakfast. When they come home they bring sauasages back over with them and pudding but i'd like to send them a hamper for xmas. I know there are some companies doing it but i have googled and cannot find them. Can anyone advise?

There's a few others. They're all hideously expensive due to the fairly low volume they sell and all the import licences required. Galtee who were linked upthread don't do it anymore, brand barely seems to exist online anymore (website down etc).

We used to this, an Irish breakfast packed and shipped from Shannon but it stopped a few years ago as US regulations changed so one could no longer send Irish produce to relatives, instead the scheme was that a local store in the area of one's relatives made up the hampers from local produce.

One could still send the gift, but in reality is was made up of US produce and nothing Irish in it at all.

I do see some of the companies we used used are adverting a service again, but I've not looked into the details.

Bit of cling film over the plate. Lash a stamp on it. Bobs your uncle.

Super, I'm actually going to send a parcel express to uk. Much cheaper! It's due to be there within the 24 hours. There are no restrictions when sending food to uk are there?
