howdy folks i was just wondering is thare any bit of a music scene around in cork or waterford? pubs/clubs playing up and coming bands and stuff like that

There was a compilation released just recently as a free download with a whole load of stuff from newer / lesser known Cork bands

Venue-wise Crane Lane theatre, the Quad and Cyprus Avenue would be some of the main ones to keep an eye on.

Was in Cork last weekend and they wouldn't let people back into Cyprus Avenue after 130. What's that all about?! Sorry, I do not know of any scenes in Munster.
