Brightening up here from the south and we have sun!

Looks like the front fizzled out over the snow fields.

Hope this doesn't allow the temps to rise too much!

Absolutely nothing happening here in Dublin CC. Wonder if this will change soon... can't see radar as I'm on phone :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,080 ✭✭✭homolumo

Rain a bit heavier in the last while, this would have been a nice amount of snow.

Game over for Waterford city, Rain Temp +0.9 DP +0.5 and rising fast.

Raining in Tramore, Co. Waterford; not heavy but definitely rain. Sky looks more like snow than rain, but there is the slightest suggestion of thawing.

Easing off in Lusk... much and all as I love it, I kinda need to focus on work and stop looking out the window every 3.5 seconds.

    1.5 now, very fast.

That band over Waterford seems to be heading slightly north on the latest radar, Wicklow might still be in for some precip in the next couple of hour. Probably wont make it any futher north than Arklow though.

Nothing in Lucan. Doesn't look like there's gonna be anymore snow here for a while. Atleast till the weather system changes back and the winds start blowing from the east/NE...

  • Registered Users Posts: 847 ✭✭✭wicklowdub

Biting cold wind now as well in Greystones, but now precip.

Don't think Met Eireann were wrong. Its just that the band broke up a bit just at the Dublin region...bit unlucky that way but looks like Kilkenny, Carlow, Laois and South kildare are getting plenty of snow from this.
