Looking to travel to Bunmahon in Co. Waterford over the weekend, anybody who can fill me in on the conditions of the roads down that way, would be appriciated.

Travelling from the N2 via the M50 and N7/N9

    Thanks

Had some sleet and wet snow here for the past while. It's gone now. Temp dropped from 1.4 to 0.9. Wet slushy conditions out there now. I'm hoping for the cloud to clear now and the temperature to start dropping.

Had a big thaw today, snow went very wet and lots of it went all together, has started to refreeze again now. Down to -0.5.

Snow was suitable for snowman building though!!

thats interesting to know about the sugar in the water because i put out a few bottles of WKD in the snow the other night to cool and forgot about and went to bed and they were not frozen the next day when i thought about them

Its not the sugar in your WKD that stops it freezing. Pure vodka doesn't freeze till -30 C. Alchopops about -20C.:)
