Big Ring sizing!

Hi all,

Just looking for a bit of advice on this cold and frosty night! I have taken to pounding away on the tt bike on the turbo trainer and just contemplating changing the "big ring" at the front for a real "big ring" !!!. I searched the web and keep coming up with the usual stock sizes....or track configurations....does anybody have any good links or has anybody gone down a similar route?

Do you currently run a compact?

The big chainrings tend to be quite expensive.

Have you tried increasing the resistance on your turbo instead?

EDIT: D'oh! I missed the TT bike part.
