Claiming super that government have taken.

Hey all,
It's been a bit since I've posted here as I left oz about 12 months ago.
Anyways, I had a super acccount with anz and noticed in september that itb suddenly just disappeared. After countless calls, I was told that the government have acquired this money under the Temporary Residents' Superannuation Legislation Amendment Act 2008. does anyone know if I can claim this money back?
I have looked it up and tried emailing the relevant government department but a repsonse has not been forthcoming.

As far as I know it has gone to the Tax Office, contact them to claim it.
