Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone here listen to him? He's on Sirius Satellite Radio in the US. He has two stations dedicated to him "Howard 100 and Howard 101"

You'll either hate him or love him apparantly. He's one of those "shock jocks" and he's been doing radio for like 35 years or something. He's been fined millions of dollars over the years for shiite he's said on air.

I think it's a good show, but the swearing kinda gets on my nerves. all in all though, a good listen.

So what's your opinion on him?

He used to be cool and dangerous but now he's tired and well past his sell by date.

Agreed. Used to listen to him in '89, and he was entertaining, if a bit repetitive. Now he's mostly just repetitive. He's at his best when he's dealing with something that's actually piqued his interest - which is normally not the tits and ass 'shock jock' fodder that the Stern machine is obliged to keep churning out. Limited by his own invention imo.

The radio presenter Gerry Ryan wished he could've been!

Might be past his better days now, but given the amount of unfunny, low IQ loudmouths that exist on US radio, he is still streets ahead of most of them.

Fair enough, there are a lot of overrated presenters out there, just that I didn't notice you being complimentary to some of the above in posts before.

I think he like's stern, but don't think he's his idol.

I do agree with those who say he's not as good as he used to be, but i still think he's good. Saying that, like alot of DJ's, he'd be nothing without his team!
