Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

    can anyone tell me where to go to get cat5e

    crimper
    cable
    connectors (rj45)

    ideally its either near dublin city centre and/or open on saturdays

    Marx Computers in Fairview sell them. I got them there before. Otherwise Ebay if you can wait

    I havent lived in dublin for a few years now.. but I reckon Maplins (Jervis) would have at least some of what you're looking for.. Their website says:

    CAT 5e Connectors RJ45

    Crimp Tool

    Cat 5e network cable

    I'm not sure if they're the cheapest or if the Jervis branch have it all in stock... but they certainly have all that you are looking for.. It's run of the mill stuff, so they should have it all in stock..

    The first two links are to exactly what you asked for... The third link is to a page with a crimp tool AND you will see there is a link to a piece of cable.. you didnt say how much cable you need or exactly what type it needs to be..
