draw a straight line from naul to lusk - it's about half way!
technically i'm ballyboughal, but lusk border is at the edge of the property!

Rang the friend back to check and he says it is belting down since just before 5 and it is sticking on the main roads. Says the temp has been between -2 and -4 all day. No sign of a thaw at all.

Nothing here in North Dublin as of yet but Raintoday radar should have something fall within an hour or 2. Temp here got up to +2 around lunchtime but 0 at the moment.

I'm meant to be driving from Dublin to Roscommon tomorrow at 8am. What are the chances that I won't have to go because the weather is totally insane?

Snow still falling here in Dundalk, but not as heavy - Roads are worse I have ever seen in my life ( And i drive a lot! )
They seem to have a thin layer of ice with snow on top. Very slick and very slippy, I have never missed a day at work yet due to weather but i cant see the roads been much better in the morning :(

Throughout this "big freeze" we have seen NO SNOW AT ALL!!!! in Mallow.
Looks like we have to wait for the next big freeze :(

Snowing stopped about an hour ago here in Shercock/Kingscourt, but left behind a nice 3cm layer of fluffy white on top of the old snow.
    But graupel has started again.
