Ha. Evelyn shows a chart for the 15th of Dec on the RTE weather and didnt comment on it. Shows what we expect next week - the high pressure which builds slightly west and south of us on Friday, moves north, allows polar air in by middle of next week. Still over a week away so she doesn't want to get involved in more bad news just yet....

-9 degrees in Donegal. +5 in Kerry.

That's a pretty big differential by Irish standards.

The Wicklow Mountains are wreckin me buzz!! Seems to be stemming the tide, mind you it is very slow moving.

South Wicklow coast going to escape unscathed again methinks. Probably just as well. Can't help but feel left out though!

Snowing lightly on and off. Pity it rained for a good while earlier on, would have been a decent re-covering by now. Won't last much longer I'd say.

Snowing here in D4 not to heavy, but nice big flakes.

  • Registered Users Posts: 777 ✭✭✭H2UMrsRobinson

Going for a lamppost watch - back soon - hopefully to report massive flakes in D3.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,682 ✭✭✭LookingFor

Been fairly persistent here, but not very heavy. Sort of varies.

edit - from the radar there might be heavier stuff creeping closer. But who knows, it might fizzle out by the next radar update...

Big slow flakes = pretty when falling but rubbish for accumulation because they are already melting.
/Looks at the pretty big flakes...
