Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    /Bump/

Anyone got one of these anti-slip mats?

I have one of the fitted mats and it works fairly well stopping things sliding about - would reckon an anti-slip one would be much better.

I suppose it will all depend on what your trying to stop slipping and how your driving!

There is the cargo net / bungee thing as well if you want to go to town to stop something moving.

Shopping bags, gym bag, books, etc and when driving is 'spirited' at times I can hear the stuff falling around the boot, so I thought that this mat might be a good purchase! :D

Stuff in bags will roll about in the bags and will "move" around that way so I reckon it won't do what you want.

For small bags and the like you could cable tie a hook to the exposed bar's and let them swing (to replace the missing parcel hook!)

It's designed to stop objects from sliding around the boot. Does it actually work?

Are they not on the underside of all the boot mats, just flip it over? Open to correction on this ...

Or go with one of these, heavier object will slide/roll anyway.

Yep...on the E46's anyway. Carpet on one side, flip it over and rubber on the other.

    +1
I've used it once or twice in my e46, had a couple bags of fire wood and turf in there and they were slipping all over the place.

Possibly worth the investment if your's doesn't have the rubber on the flip side of the carpet
