Help...3 year old Ford S-max 1.9 diesel and has developed a very nasty smell coming form the engine. Enters the cabin of the car when fans turned on. Was told it may be the clutch? But the clutch/gears are not slipping! Engine coolant is a little below min...besides that can't see anything obvious...like a dead cat/bird....!! Defo not cat converter! Any ideas or help? Tks...and apologies if posted in the wrong location!

Its possible that there is some coolant dripping down on to the exhaust.Fill to the max and leave the engine running to see if there is a leak.Could be any of the fluids.Check them all.
