Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

IDE/PATA, Pioneer, Samsung, Sony Optiarc I think are good choices to replace it, Avoid LiteON

    That's an IDE drive.

As for replacing it, depends on what size you need and how much you wanna spend.

DVD Burners are quite cheap now adays so you'll prob end up getting one of those, ones I suggested are imo the best options, Pioneer or Samsung be my top reccomendations, LiteONs in my expierience are very fussy readers and the slightest dirt/scratch could end up in drive being unable to read disc (This may have changed but it was like that in the past), have both a Pioneer & Samsung Burner in my own pc and there fine, both burning & reading

The connections on the back. Sata is a smaller single connection. The IDE is that longer one.

I have a few 100% working drives hanging around from repairs/upgrades. If you're in Dublin and can collect you are welcome to one!
