Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Most cars are in between 3.5 and 4.5L. At a guess I would say 4 including the filter.

In any case dip it before you drain it, if it is on the mark measure how much comes out and replace it. Then dip it again

Sadly it was a fair way off mark. Thick oil too. Was well maintained up to previous owner who put 10k miles up on it over 2 years without servicing. Running well now after a flush and fresh magnatec.

Autodata shows oil capacity with filter for that car @ 3.2 litres,
10W30 for moderate climate, 5W30 for cold.

    Ta!

Need to drain 800ml in that case :(
I threw in 4l and its a fair bit over the full mark. I won't run it 'til drained.
Not today though - its under another 4 inches of white.

    edit: ordered a Haynes today.
