HTC DESIRE version 2.29.405.2 software update

    Just bagged Froyo update on my HTC DESIRE (Meteor unlocked) version 2.29.405.2 now installed. No idea what it has done for me but maybe it's in preparation for Gingerbread.
    :-)

    Looks like it's a HTC update
    Anyone else get it? Any ideas what it has extra?

    My vodafone Desire upgraded to software number 2.33.161.2 about a fortnight ago automatically.

    as per other thread

    looks like a new Radio, faster Gmail, faster OS in general and battery is also supposed to be improved. Not sure what else it will do for us

    From checking the various Android sites it seems part of the market place update.
