Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

My friend crashed his car today and has the following problem. The car was brought over from Northern Ireland in May of 2010, since then it has been taxed and insured but not NCT'd , can anyone tell me if this fact will come up when he makes his claim or is it the case that since they did'nt ask it wont matter?

If the car was less than 4 years old it won't. Presuming that it was older than 4 years old it shouldn't be a problem provided after inspection of the car it wasn't proved to be unroadworthy prior to the crash.

Ah I see, that makes sense , as far as I know it was in pretty good shape, 04 Audi , couldn't be much wrong with it.

Depends on the insurance really. Some insurances will ask for the NCT later, others just inspect the car, if there's anything that would have made it not road worthy.
