Like many I've been collecting unpaid DD's and today I get a letter from my loan company saying there were not paid and I need to make a payment of €0.06 to clear the balance.

    What does this mean?

the computer has seen you have an outstanding balance of 0.06c

ring them and hope they see sense

Write them a cheque for 7 cent or send them coins in the post. Will probably cost them more than that to process.

Then follow it up with a letter demanding one cent to clear the balance.
