Windows 7 starter how do i upgrade?

Sorry this question is probably bit silly to alll you pc buffs out there.

My son has an Acer Netbook and he noticed today he is limited with some apps and it has Windows 7 starter edition.

Can i upgrade the OS online and if so how much would it cost for basic package any ideas tips greatly appreciated.

Yes, but isnt available for Ireland.
You need to get an WAU key in a store.
