Negotiating contracts/getting freebies

Is it possible to negotiate when signing up to a new contract? I mean do the shop assistants have the power to throw in a freebee/extras? Or is everything set in stone? I'm thinking of going on eMobile €29 (Eircom customer) 200+200 package with 10GB add-on (€14.99).
