    Does anyone have Ulster bank step account? can the visa debit be used online or just at atm?

    It can be used anywhere a Visa debit is accepted.

    they told a friend of mine the basic step account visa debit card will only work with atm, online shopping with it is blocked. mind you they told him different last week

    who is wrong? do you, or anyone reading this, have a step account with visa debit and can you buy online with it at amazon/ book depository/play.com etc. thanks

    You've already been advised: the Visa Debit card is accepted practically everywhere Visa credit is - online and offline.

    I have step account and my visa works online. It's regular visa debit card...
