Exam Registration

Anyone know what the story is with this?

We only got one brief email last week to tell us it was on yesterday, I naturally forgot about it and didnt do it.

So today I went up to the engineering offices and they told me I now had to go down stairs to the exams office. I did that and there was about 200 people queuing and I have too much work to be getting done to waste 2 hours in a queue.

I assume we can do it any time this week and not just today?

Nope, registration was yesterday but they did an extra couple hours 2day for people who couldnt make it in. Id contact Caire McGlinchey in the exams office asap if i were you

Cheers, must head in first thing in the morning then. I know of a few other people who never did it so I'm sure there must be some reservations for people

I don't know about the engineering dept., but the computing exam registration is on tomorrow, 9.30 - 1.00, in the Science Dept. meeting room. There may be someone there that could help?

I went up to the engineering registration offices twice today and they were supposed to be there but the room was empty. I went in to the secretary and she said the same, that they shoul be there and said all I could do was to queue downstairs which I didnt have time for.

Considering how little notice they gave us I cant see it being too urgent. I only got one email during last week and another one yesterday telling about today, neither of which hinted that it was overly important to meet the deadline so hopefully I'll be fine

Where is the science room in case I'm stuck?

2nd floor, past 2290, corridor opposite the Help Desk, down the end, on the left.

I can't see how missing your reg. time can be that detramental, I mean, we're supposed to be reg'ing in the morning, and our bunch are a real dozey lot! Bet ya half of them don't make it!

Thanks for that, I had to go there in the end. First time I've been down that part of the college so got a bit lost :pac:

And yeah they never really make a big deal out of registration so you must be able to sort it out later if you miss it
