    hey
    im looking to plant a couple off apple tree,s this winter
    just looking for a bit of advice,as were im planting
    them the ground is very wet nearly all off the year.
    So is there a kind off apple tree suited for this??.

    AFAIK There is No Apple that likes to have Wet "Feet"

    Why is the Area "WET" all year round?

    I Guess you could try growing as a Trial on Raised beds/ soil Mounds, this may help the wet feet issue... maybe grow the more Vigourous Cultivars ...

    And if Possible try reduce the WET issue with drainage ...

    we built our house on a bog the front garden has bein raised
    up and we have drainage there but that only keeps the water at
    a certain level...

    I would say then the only option open to you might be a raised bed... Sorry no experience of dealing with Bog sites... (Thank God) :-)

    You could do a trial of creating a large mound and planting a tree atop...

    let us know how you get around this issue... you may not be as WET as to affect Apple growth/production too
