You seem to have mis-read something here.
Everybody in this thread is upset that the govt. are sending off 23m to another country, without any detailed explanation as to what it is for...whilst, back in Waterford, two 5 year old children have been found routing in bins for food.

Nobody is talking about social welfare.

A new women's refuge in Dublin is turning away two in every five women seeking help because its accommodation is full.
Viva House in Dublin 15 has accommodated 63 women and 112 children since it opened last June.

That just pisses me off, that €23million could be used for given homeless people shelter, warmth, food and clothes.

Global warming? C'mon, this planet cools down itself etc. Its a system that has been going since this planet was created..
If they stopped cutting down forrests at the rate they did/do and put a cap on emissions years ago we wouldnt be speeding up the process. They have no problem making us all pay for the problems we didnt even cause.
