Ulster Bank Visa Debit

Hi, just a small query. I have an account in the north with ulster bank and I was recently issued a Visa Debit card when the chip stopped working in my maestro card. Can the Visa Debit card be used in Ireland? I couldn't use my maestro one because it was Maestro UK. Thanks.

visa debit can be used anywhere that accepts visa (yes you can use it in ireland. check the fees etc with your bank)
