Quotes in messages

Hi looking for help!!

How do you use other people's quotes.
I've managed the copy and paste using quote tag, but in most forums you see replies from people that have the full quote (post) in a blue box, or even better is when they break it down further into several quotes in several boxes.

How do you this.

This button is in the bottom right-hand corner of all posts:

If you click that, it will bring you to a "new post" editor, where you can post your reply with the quoted text.

For multi-quotes, use this button instead: .
You can select as many posts as you like to multi-quote. When you've picked the ones you need, press and you'll see them stacked in the new post editor box.

to break it down to several boxes, just wrap each bit of text in the quote tags:

[noparse]

quoted text goes here

[/noparse] gives

quoted text goes here

and
[noparse]

Thanks, was half doing that. Pressing quote, all the quote marks come up, decided that wasn't right and would just go to post reply.

Thanks was half doing that. Pressed quote, quotation marks came up, no blue box, would delete and just go back and post reply.
