Never mind Charles/Camilla being killed, I'd say the protesters are lucky they weren't shot.

They probably attacked the car from a distance. If they got up close to smash the window, I'd say his bodyguards have orders to shoot on sight.

How it even got to that point is baffling. If you're among a group who are attracting the wrath of a violent mob, do not go out into them. If you do, be subtle about it. However, that anyone got to the point of attacking the car without being greeted with at least some form of less than lethal intervention from the protective officers is baffling.

Body Guards were stuck in their car just like Charlie and his pony, it was the closeness that scared them and smashed the cars window.
