You said look at the league table, as of the live league table United are top.

That was in response to "your team are ****" - Doesn't the league table disprove that ?

90 minutes in a game. when ye seal the points ill be the first to say well done but until then keep it in the pants ;)

"Live" league tables don't mean an awful lot.

Not being able to pass the ball 10 yards in a straight line?

    @LiterallyJamie:

HT; Heartwarming scenes as #MUFC and #AFC play 45 mins of turgid football to show their solidarity for the cruelly sacked Allardyce.

Or worded slightly differently, NOT a two footed challenge.

United deserve to be ahead, horrible from Fletcher running after Webb Ballack style though. ;)

Two footed though. Deserved the yellow imo.

Chamakh did have kick at Nani too and it was a yelloe tbf and well Nani is Nani, you don't expect him to get on with it anytime soon when he gets hit.

We're under pressure here; Arshavin is playing piss and Nasri hasn't been in it. Created nothing and second best to everything. Need to get Cesc and RVP on and maybe Theo running off RVP. Play like we did in the first half again and United will win this at a canter.

On the subject of tackling; can everyone quit being bitches? Its a tough game from both sides. Nothing malicious in it so far.
Epic post with no tinted specs, I salute you.

It's crazy how many premier league players have a horrible first touch.

Have you not seen the "nearly more dangerous than it actually was" offence in the rule book? :)

I always enjoy reading threads like these - an inordinate amount of pettyness.
I hope the second half has a few more incidents - needs a bit more controversy.
Standard is only fair - alot of mis passes, especially by arsenal in the last third.

I got one look at it, the live one. And it sure as hell looked jammy to me. Will catch the half time replay I hope

    *Eats words*

A few nervous players perhaps? Some shocking first touches from both teams, but moreso arsenal IMO.

that's a one off, like when United beat Arsenal 6-2 a few years ago, guarantee next time they play it will be a different story.

look at the 2 games they played last season and get back to me

Just in case anyone missed Sky's half-time analysis the gist of it was that they think whichever team has scored the most goals by the end of the match will probably win.

It was a joke. This game has been very poor so far though, hopefully the 2nd half will pick up a bit.

yeah why is it a poor game? poor passing and some awful play. watched one player there take 3 touches with nobody around him and he still couldn't control it. And I'll spout whatever I want thank you very much:D

I also think they touched on Park's "Individualism"

More profound insights from Andy Gray

Worst of it is that this is an actual quote from a Sky commentator maybe 4 years ago, I've not forgotten it since:
"Spurs have found recently that in order to beat their opponents they've had to outscore them." Really wish I was making that up.

Ya, but just because their touch isnt great today dosent mean it isnt great in general. Nasri's had a few poor touches, but how would you rate his in general??

Not really, but kind of..a foul, not a yellow card..

Rojadirecta tells me Bendtner, Van Persie and Walcott all on the bench:eek:

Absolutely class. But for every Nasri there seems to be a donkey whose second touch is a tackle.
