Myself and the wife are heading to Orlando for Christmas, we were ther once before 11 years ago, so I'm sure the place may have changed abit since then.We intend going to Busch gardens and Universal Studios, So, any advice on which other parks are best and where to go would be great.
We also intend renting a car, which went fine the last time, but if anyone can offer any advice, that would be great.

    Thanks in advance.

    seaworld is good

universal has two parks, (universal studios and islands of adventure), you really need a day each to see both), universal city walk has lots of bars and restaurants and stays open till 2-3am

we found this place the last time in orlando last month, its located just behind universal studios next to the doubletree hotel on kirkman road, pints of miller etc are $2.50, place was pretty much packed on a tuesday night http://www.millersalehouse.com/

its not that far of a drive from orlando to daytona beach or kennedy space center either

Thanks Rossie, that's the kind of info I was looking for, I have to say we enjoy a beer or two, whilst on holiday, and I think we'll pay this place a visit.
We were also wondering about shopping, any tips or recommendations would be great.

I was there a while with work and did the shopping at the outlet place on International Drive (we stayed at Peabody Hotel, nice).

if you are into cars or bikes in anyway there is a place in kissimmee called old town that has car cruises - definitely worth a look - great atmosphere.

also if you are renting a car check with your hotel as often they have partnerships with rental companies which will offer discounts - we found enterprise to be the best as the collected you at your hotel and drop you back as well.
