Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Was thinking of getting a wireless N usb similar to This one or This one should this do the trick or is there a card I can replace inside my hard drive on my desktop

Thanks for that the cards that you gave as examples would they be easy to install if I open the desktop or what should I be looking for in my existing pc? Not that tech savy thats why was looking at usb option but if inserting a new wifi card aint rocket science would like to look at that route but before I buy what do I need to check

instaling new wifi card isn't a big deal, mate ... as first open pc case and have a look for a free pci-e slot, http://www.cooldrives.com/lib/cooldrives/sata-pci-express-pci-card.jpg , http://faq.tweakers.net/pmg/PCIe_mobo.jpg if you have it just insert new card into, turn the pc on and install drivers and software from cd ... forgot one thing : you have to remove old wifi card or disable it (if is on motherboard) .. any question just ask

This is a mini PCI-E to PCI-E wireless adapter, not a wifi card

oooups my bad this is the adapter only, but second link is ok ...

@Irish Gunner: the answer is simply: better quality of signal received ... tested few usb N dongles and changed to pci-e card, this one http://cgi.ebay.ie/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250710391456&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT and having 270mb link with router downstairs with 88% signal strenght and 100% quality when on usb sticks was maximum 70/80% at 130-170mb ...

good choice, mate ..this card is amazing and comes with aerial on aprox.3 foot lenght cable....
btw if you are based not too far from Dublin 7 can fit it for you ..free of charge of course

we are home now this first short slot on the left hand side is the pci-e ... so this card from ebay will work for sure, just dont forger to take this old one out

yep, squared one is pci-e
the old one is this with aerial ... fitted by one screw : just unscrew and pull up:)
