The video isn't exactly magical, reasons for picking it being...

1. foals missed out in my lists up top despite coming so close to being on one or more of the lists.
2. the song is great with every instrument doing their own thing yet when put together sound sublime.

Others I thought were good are 'LCD - Drunk Girls', 'OK Go - This Too Shall Pass', 'Kanye West - Runaway' and 'Foals - Miami' but I think my favourite of the year is 'Miike Snow - The Rabbit'. Love it.

From looking over the thread, what I found interesting is that, for a good few people, songs from their album of the year didn't feature heavily in their choices for song of the year.
My 2 favourite albums of the year were from Arcade Fire & The National. Both albums have great songs but neither had songs that I could put in ahead of the songs I chose for song of the year.
