Are most brands for the lower face mask good? A lot of websites don't mention the brand. I know that the review says that Black Bear masks are good but I don't know if thats what I'm getting if I buy.

funny you mention that but..... :pac::pac::pac:
I actually gave up fencing only a few years ago!!! :D

I trained twice a week for a few years doing traditional
fencing which was different to sports fencing where you
learned the methods that were actually used in Duels rather than the methods used in modern matches where its all about scoring points. I've a french foil, Epee, Saber and Italian Rapier at home along side my fencing mask and my protective gear which is now all too small for me since Im now a fat bastard.

Probably why I've a fondness for Mesh masks over goggles.

I games last week with a guy who was wearing one of them! Preety nice piece but, the only thing I would be worried about is the bb coming from the back and ricocheting into your eye

I'm trying to decide between the Black Bear and Bitter End face masks.

Is there anywhere in Ireland that supplies Bitter End face masks?
