Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, hopefully someone can help me. I was increasing the size of the partition on my external drive. I left the laptop but my sister exited the partition increase at about 50% progress. I now cant access the partition it says "Do you want to format this drive" in windows. I have to get the information back its my entire movie collection (hence why I couldn't backup first). Does anyone have any ideas how to get it going again.

Try DiskGenius 3.2, its a free download. Never had to use it myself but a couple of guys in work have and say it saved their ass.

Have a look also at Hiren's BootCD 12.0, another free download. Lots of useful tools on that.

Try recovering the data before attempting to recover the partition structure as you may make the data unrecoverable. There are a few free data recovery packages out there that I've seen mentioned on here (getdataback is one if I remember correctly) I'm not sure how reliable they are as the one we use in the workshop is a professional package that cost us over a thousand euro!

Kinda complicated. Can recover partitions (used after my boss formated a drive) and files from corrupt partitions (used to recover files from a drive of my own that was corrupt)
