Hi all, apologies if this is in the wrong place! Can anybody tell me if it is possible to tune in to RTE radio in Spain - not on internet, but on radio? I wonder if DAB would be able or it is just too far??!! (I want to get a small radio to be used while walking if I can at all manage it!)

The 252kHz transmitter on LW would be your only possibility I would imagine, and I'm not sure how deep into Spain it would be picked up. Probably ok in the north of Spain, but I'm sure it would be difficult to hear in the south, especially on a small pocket radio.

Algerian station is on 252 khz. So may block reception in Spain.

You may get RTE Radio on Satellite.
Large dish on 28.2E for 2D
