Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

so in my haste and naievity i purchased an apple trackpad off the apple store without checking compatabiliy **insert kick to the head**
turns out it can work, albeit with out some multi-touch functionality on windows 7 with a bootcamp driver install and ubuntu 10.10 with recent linux kernal can support it,

just wondering has anybody used it on non mac os, and whats it like ! or should i consider putting on adverts when it arrives !! :p

    cheers

Personally im not really a fan of trackpads on a windows pc but i do like the multitouch features and gestures on the macs. If you were going to loose these features using the new trackpad on a pc its just gonna be an overpriced trackpad that doesnt do anything diffeent to a cheaper one which kinda defeats the purpose of buying one.

Personally i would use the money and buy a decent mouse ehich for thst kinda money would get you something very nice indeed.

Well he could sell it as he says and get some of the money back.

OP, do the multi-touch capabilities work on Ubuntu?
