Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. You'd never see two guys kissing each other to get attention from the ladies in a nightclub.

All women are either bi or lesbian.

This is a well established scientific fact.

It's a well know fact that all good looking women have lesbian and/or bi-sexual tendancies.

Ugly women do it for attention.

Who could fail to be turned on by a sexy lesbian?

The girls who do that to get attention from guys normally aren't really bi-sexual. They're just attention whores.......

    Dirty, filthy, sexy attention whores!

    Hhhmmmmmmm........

Ehh.... excuse me, I have to go to the bathroom for a minute.

i think a womans need for attention outdoes any feelings she may have regarding sex - so women kissing in nightclubs has f'uck all to do with sex.

The operative word! I actually wished I got fired for opening that, just so I have a reason to go home and cry without people knowing I saw that.

You have almost ruined lesbians for me...

I'm going home to watch Cruel Intentions/Coffee & TV scene

I think the correct answer for this question is "In us mens heads they are :)"

But 90% of them just do it for attention form blokes, and when the bloke starts giving them attention they tell you to f**k off!!!!

Yeah, but do you know or have you ever seen two guys who would kiss each other just to get attention from a girl?

The answer is probably, but the lezzers have it easy! The worst a little experimentation can result in for the ladies is a bit of 'beard rash' where as for blokes, experimentation is just major pain in the hole....

Cant say that i have to be honest, although in turkey a few years ago one of the lads we were hangin round with challenged me to a game of gay chicken, in my drunken state i decided to call him on it..................... I lost, instead of doing the slowly moving in thing he just grabbed my head and planted one on me........... and the girls, to say the least, were not turned on!!!!!!!

    At all!!!!!

Women who kiss each other in clubs or pubs aren't bi, the correct term for them is barsexual.

True, and that's such a shame I think.
There are few things hotter than two guys kissing.

I don't think girls are generally more likely to be bisexual than men, but I do think it's more accepted for girls than it is for men. So a lot of men might feel curious, but would be mortified to admit it, let alone experiment.

What is that picture? My curiousity is making me want to open it, but I just know it won't be what I'm expecting/hoping. Should I refrain?

Yes, it seems they are. I've met countless women who have had sexual experiences with other women and yet still consider themselves to be heterosexual.

Yes, if porn is to be believed, and I find it hard to accept that the girls I was watching last night where doing it just for the money. You wouldn't do that* just for the money.

    Well you think wrong...

Agreed though re the specific phenomenon of girls snogging - that is attention-seeking, but it doesn't mean "a woman's need for attention outdoes any feelings she may have regarding sex". It just means some people are attention-seekers...

I've met a few of my mates for the laugh (yes, really for the laugh) out in clubs when we're pretty far gone. If nothing else, I know for sure I don't have the ghey in any way - the slightest rasp of stubble and I'm fit to gag.

I think women find women attractive or more aesthetically pleasing than men in many cases, hence the reason why women are used more to sell products to women and in general.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,996 ✭✭✭✭nacho libre

i would say women are more likely to acknowledge and explore their bisexuality than a bisexual man would be. so maybe this is why there is the perception that more women are bisexual than men

    am i wrong?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,467 ✭✭✭Wazdakka

Yes all women are Bisexual*.. FACT.
And I have the adult movies to prove it.

I think the traits shared in attractive women - soft, smooth, slim - would not necessairly be seen as unnattractive to other women, whereas the physical characterics of men - solid, hairy, bulky - would generally be considered a serious turn-off by most males.

Tbh I'd say about ten percent of the 'bisexual' girls you come across are actually bisexual. Most are just out to be cool and individual and make boys like them.

Maybe I'm just bitter about 'bisexual' girls suddenly turning out to be straight if I like them!!

  • Registered Users Posts: 427 ✭✭Keogg

I think all women have a slight bit of bi in them. I mean, Im straight but that doesnt mean I havent thought about doing emma watson or megan fox and the like... That'd be awesome:pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,171 ✭✭✭af_thefragile

Well in adult films with 3 people doing what they do, you always see the girls make out while the guys stand around trying to act cool.
You never see the guys make out while the girl(s) stand around acting cool...
Unless of course the film is directed towards a certain group of people...

And generally girls tend to feel more comfortable around other naked girls such as in changing rooms than men do around other naked men.

Most guys couldn't even imagine making out with another guy while women seem to quite readily be up to for sticking their tongue down another girl's throat...

Like if you enjoy making out with people of the same sex as you then how does that not make you bi?!!!?!

Really? I have always found the guys I suspect of having some hidden gay tendencies tend to be the ones who are uncomfortable in dressing rooms. Among people I know that is. I'm not the slightest bit uncomfortable myself, it's the human body and it's a beautiful thing....in most cases. I don't see it as something to be uncomfortable about, and as I said, it's the guys who are a little in the closet who I have noticed are most uncomfortable.

That said, I could be just seeing evidence for my own preconceptions, though I tend to not do that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 14,598 ✭✭✭✭prinz

IMO it's going to increase over time as we are bombarded constantly with a sexualised image of women, then of course more women would find them attractive.

As for the girls 'kissing' in a niteclub or whatever........ attention whores. There is a certain mindset who thinks that's what guys want, and maybe some guys do. Meh. It seems to be driven by a need to conform to an expectation. One that is fuelled by a lot of things, from porn down to music videos. It's "cool" to kiss a girl, generally they aren't the smartest and nicest people on the go.

Ya, and the women. Lets just say you wouldn't pick them out of a crowd and the lads involved regularly do better. I just went back to the bar and left them at it.

You've answered your own question there as both sets of films are aimed at straight men so they would be more inclined to want to see the 2 girls kissing rather than the 2 men

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,370 ✭✭✭Knasher

I'm pretty sure that if men thought it would work we would be all over each other.

After all we do have that old film cliche of the straight guy pretending to be gay so that the girl will let her guard down and he can take advantage. Same thing, it just takes longer so not as good in a pub.

Well I've read a couple of proper studies where they found that arousal differed a little between men and women, gay or straight. Straight men got phyiscally turned on by sexual representations of women or straight sex. Gay guys were turned on by men or gay sex. Both reported their arousal on questionnaires and the results matched the physical results.

Women were more complex. While they reacted most strongly to stimuli that went along with their sexual preference, they also reacted to any sex act(even monkeys going at it apparently). Sex itself aroused them. Interestingly their questionnaires differed. The straight ones said they were turned on by the straight stuff and the gay ones turned on by the gay stuff. Many were surprised they were physically aroused by stuff they consciously weren't.

Bug pity about those studies is they didnt research men and women who self reported as BI.

I'd reckon that gay-straight is on a curve. Some are very one way or the other and some more in the middle. I would say though that women are slightly more in the middle. I've known far more women who had a lesbian "phase"(to coin a phrase) in their late teens and had girlfriends in the past(two of my exes were like that), than men who have. I've also known way more who thought of themselves as straight and were, got hitched, had kids with guys and then in their late 30's/40's or 50's ended up in long term happy lesbian relationships(though still dont quite self report as "lesbian"). I've known men who did similar but all of them said they were living a lie as a straight guy.

Human sexuality is a very complex thing at the best of times.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,297 ✭✭✭Jaxxy

In general I'd probably say yes, they are, down to a couple of factors. One is the aesthetically pleasing form of a naked woman, the other is that yes, no matter what people say, it does tend to be more socially acceptable for a woman to find another woman attractive, as opposed to a man finding another man attractive.

Women are more likely I think to explore other facets of their sexuality than men are. I know I was when I was younger; and I still find a naked woman more attractive than a naked man in probably nine out of ten cases.

It's a shame really that some people feel stifled by their environment or the expectations placed on them and as a result in some cases feel the need to repress certain issues.
