    Okay, so I keep getting essays back and I'm constantly assuming that uni uses the same way of grading as secondary schools. But my brother is always talking about how anythning above a B is the highest mark or something..

    Can anyone explain how it works? Is 40% a fail, 85% an A etc...

    And how much percent do we need to get in a module to pass it?

    I just got a project back today, its worth 50% and I got a B-... What percentage did I get then, according to the system?

    Sorry for this idiot Q, Im sure people are facepalming as they read this :D
