For posters in the East if you look out toward the Irish Sea there is a very nice vista atm as the sun goes down. The orange glow off the clouds is a nice sight. Very picturesque.

Dublin Airport currently reporting Westerly. Nowhere near an easterly. At least it seems to be helping the temperature drop which is now down to -4.0C after being well below 0 all day.

Could everyone on Dublin take out their hairdryers and step outside their front door and point their hairdryers in a south westerly direction, and if you could blow a bit at this same, this might help as well! :D:D:D

EDIT: Make sure the hairdryer is blowing cold and not hot air!

Bouy M2 is not in service. But watching the radar, the circulation is starting to organise itself in the irish sea. It seems to me shes starting to move east.

I do hope so. The latest run 12z seems to be always going back to its mild default settings. This cold spell will last alot longer then forecast.

Earlier I thought the cell on Down coast would be heading Dundalk direction...looking at it now it looks like the IoM clump may spin this way instead (it also sems to be pulling a bit more moisture in behind it)

    Patience is the game lads.

The gradient will slowly edge the easterlies further south.

It is painstaking but we will get our rewards! Maybe!
