Dont worry, at the speed this is moving you can go to bed and it will arrive when you wake up

Thats correct if he wakes up in about an hour!

I reckon it'll hit Bray in the next 30 minutes max.

By my estimation about 45minutes worth of snowfall max

Does the -4.9 temp and -6.7 dp at my location in Bray have any bearing on the type of frozen precipitation that falls? If so what do you think will fall?

    Will I be:

    A. Ah FFS its poxy Hail
    B. Meh, tiny poxy grains
    C. Mmm, Graupel, s'ok I s'pose

or D. Big fluffy mother f**kin' flakes yo. Gimme all you got for the next hour you mofo!!

    :D

No idea what if anything it means for the precip type, the temp is just starting to rise a bit from the record breaking -4.9C here now, up to -4.7C as the cloud is moving overhead:D

Certainly no later than but tbh we are 20 minutes ahead of last update and it was pretty damn close to Bray Seafront then. I expect it to start here any minute.

Is it just me or are those clouds moving INCREDIBLY slow? Bear in mind I have had a few beers!

    2 parts to the precip,

Decent gap inbetween, i wonder will the showers brush northhwards as they hit shore or carry on their current trajectory.

The northern stuff looks like it could hit far north county Dublin, Skerries/ Balbriggan.

    The south bit, Greystones.

I'm back in Skerries. I took a peek out a few minutes ago and nothing so far though I thought I felt a drop but couldn't see much. Very strange out there. My WS is reading -4.6 but its so calm and still that it hardly feels cold at all! Very strange!

Yep , I'm in the gap for sure so off to bed but maybe we'll get a lovely surprise dusting by the morning, I live in eternal hope :D

Hope the rest of you poor deprived snow lovers get some action tonight :-)

I take it that there is little chance of Dublin West(around Huston station) getting any snow tonight?
