    Yeah engineered to perfection.

Really? I hope so. I hatched a plan in the pub to build a ten foot tall snowgod.

    Shut up, I'll do it.

Actually I wonder if this is what qualifies as freezing drizzle. It's more graupely to my eyes.

Looks good for Skerries and Balbriggan.

It is snow, probably fine fine powder snow.

Far to cold for anything else ;)

Got very heavy here just a few minutes ago. I'm seeing something like fine hail. It's quite dry and holds together well but there's no fluffiness about it. Feels like hail.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,310 ✭✭✭Trogdor

Still going strong here, I'd say there's about an inch or just over that.

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,233 ✭✭✭squonk

I'm hitting the bed. Have an early start tomorrow but I hold to it being hail. It's very fine hail but there's a wettness about it as it falls and you can hear it hitting the ground like hail, plus it just clatters straight down. No floating at all. Skerries is a sort of mini peninsula so I wonderif sea air is modifying the cold. We've got straight out snow or sleet from streamers before.

Had died down slightly for a bit there but it's back heavier than ever now, almost whiteout!
