South is very bright and north is very dark over here in D15. I'd kill for even a snow flurry.

    Gone again!

  • Registered Users Posts: 12,778 ✭✭✭✭ninebeanrows

If we hadnt had the thaw earlier we would have a cm or 2 down but not really sticking apart from in some spots.

Would need consistent heavier stuff to make that change.

just started snowing a tiny bit here in johnstown, navan and feeling bitterly cold and no trace of a breeze at all so if it does start properly it might stay for a while.

only had about 1cm up to now to, so fingers crossed this is it! :)
my parents stayed in trim last night and drove back home to dunleer this morning , they only met snow in collon , we had a few inches in dunleer last night

I was sorry to hear they died in such circumstances, but its hardly the fault of the weather , that the young mother decided to leave her kids in the care of someone else while she went out in freezing temps to obtain and use Heroin.

    Ok....

    Ive tried prayer.....no result.

    Ive tried snow dance......no result.

Ive made a deal with the Snow Goddess....no result.

I am now resorting to tears and on my knees pleading.....

Anyone else any ideas for getting snow in Wexford?

  • Registered Users Posts: 228 ✭✭Leeside

Is it going to snow again in Cork lads? Please?

Whereabouts in Cork are you? Forecast suggests that snow will spread from West Cork later today/tonight. Then Monday and Tuesday should see plenty more. If near the coast, I dunno ... maybe sleet.

Just when I thought nothing was going to happen today, there is snow a few miles to my north, I can almost smell it.

It's too warm here though I think...

Fine fluffy snow again in the last fifteen minutes inland D13, as reported above. The fine sugar coating from the last couple of nights had just melted off the roads here, so it's not really sticking properly, at least while the surfaces are still damp, anyway.
