After reading the reports of very light snow around here here I checked the local lampost with my telescope and can confirm snowflakes about the size of a red lentil falling at the rate of about 10 flakes/minute.

    red lentils you say?

in my expert opinion this could develop in into a mushy hippie stew :D

    10 flakes?

when it gets to 16 flakes per minute prepare bunker..

CARLOW current temp. -5.8c no snow

So I'm guessing Waterford's getting no snow? :(

Likely to get some showers overnight and tomorrow.

come on down to kilkenny pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

better hope from the south for us, although you in the north of the county would be less likely to get any from it, The showers coming off the irish sea really wont be strong enough today or tomorrow to get anywhere near us.

To also those jealous of the snow Bray got last night and tonight.

What is worrying me and this is a purely irrational fear based in no science or logic but merely Murphies Law is.....

This is an exact repeat of the last snow event that started end of November.

Snow showers on the Saturday and Sunday Nights.
Accumulations of about an inch and a half both nights.
Following that Bray got 3 or 4 5 minute showers for the rest of the week, while all those who were jealous of bray that weekend ended up getting tonnes of the stuff during that week.

Your time will come again this week and you'll likely end up with a tonne more than Bray.....again!! :D:D

Has Bray had much snow tonight yet Calibos? if the radar is anything to go by - it should be hitting about now if it hasn't already?
