working in the city centre but living around Malahide. From weathercheck and darkman reports, look forward to arriving at a winter wonderland. A couple of weeks ago, the village in malahide looked like an alpine village. Was not expecting this kind of snow today
Me neither and im bloody excited, esp now as i have the right tyres to get out of my estate in robswall

This is so frustrating. Getting loads of live updates from everywhere but here, in snow-free, dark-as-night Dublin 4
    :(

On the north dublin front, that blob seems to be inching westward. I hope it doesn't disintegrate in the next couple of radar updates...it seems to have gotten a little further than the last blobs.

Beautiful photos calibos....i asked on other thread did you get your spikes in shop in Bray??Reckon you did to get up there today.Any photos of clouds heading Greystones way ?????

Actually, no I didn't get the spikes yet. :D Just wearing my normal Timberland boots. Snow was thick enough on the ground to look pretty but thin enough to get traction on the dirt and stones underneath.

Some arseholes are ruining my snow at the moment though, they can feck off:D

I get protective of my snow:D:D

I would say there is 4-5cm of snow on the wall.

Serious blizzard conditions going on in Donaghmede - I'm having trouble seeing the other side of the (small) park and it's fairly belting down! That's some streamer...

Is any of the white stuff going to hit the Wild West of Dublin

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,774 ✭✭✭Big Daddy Cool

i notice the clouds are building up out in the irish sea, and if they keep building, they seem be heading for the louth and meath coast later.

Maybe not related, but some friends on Facebook are reporting a power-cut in Dublin city.

Unless of course the wind changes direction?

I meant to quote "do.0b"s post in this. Sorry

Howth seems to be enhancing showers today! Or is it just cause it's on higher ground and the radar picks up more precipitation??

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,724 ✭✭✭kennyb3

    Yep snowing lightly in D9

  • Registered Users Posts: 851 ✭✭✭JayEnnis
