    Power was out in North Wicklow/South Dublin at around 1:15pm today for around 30 minutes or so. Dunno if there's any more outages.

    ah thanks calibos,getting mine today my timberlands wern't worth a dam in the ice.very sad watching these clouds move along the coast slowly southwards.

    Just came from Sutton, roads cleared and gritted, although it started to snow very heavily as I as leaving.

    Has stopped now in Firhouse but looking at raintoday.co.uk when u zoom in we are right in line for the whiteouts happening in portmarnock etc.....
    Assuming the wind doesn't change direction of course!!!:)

    wind experts -- what direction are the upper winds moving in and what is the forecast for them? this is all that seems to matter for this evening for the east coast
