Is it just me, or does the Isle of Man 'shadow' seem to be getting all the snow looking at the radar?

Very heavy snow continuing in Malahide. Really bad for drivers atm.

Started to snow right as I left work in Merrion Sq - very light and small flakes. Got heavier and larger and there's a nice covering now after 6 or 7 minutes.
It's even sticking to the road despite being soaked. Not sure how really.

Any one of you experts want to predict we might get some snow in Kildare from the current clouds over Dublin?
According to raintoday.co.uk it might just head to us :)

Serious snow in Dublin city centre. Flakes the same as the downfall a few weeks ago. It's also sticking fairly well. Half inch on the ground so far

    Just snowing lightly here now.

Could be some snow on and off for a few hours in places going by the radar.

Really heavy snow in Howth - Summit area, can't speak for the village. blizzards since about 2pm, seems to have eased off slightly, but looks like more is on the way.
Very picturesque, but secondary roads are lethal. Be careful.

Really heavy snow now in Dublin 12. We've had a few small flurries today but this is the on par with 2 weeks ago as far as intensity goes. Dunno how long its gona last but doesn't look like stopping just yet.

i've just read through about 10 pages lookin to see if any of the snow is going to hit south wicklow/wexford area.

I happy dublin is gettin snow but on every page there is about 10 posts of 'snowing in d4' etc....instead of every1 in 'd4' or wherever its snowing typing it out, why dont you just click the thumbs up button on the bottom right side of the post, then the rest who arent getting snow wont have to trawl through 10pages to find out whats happening/going to happen in other areas.....just a suggestion:P

Now i'll ask a weather question which will probably be lost with all the posts reporting snow for the one area.......Do any of you know it the streamers in the irish sea will hit my area????

    tanx
