  • Registered Users Posts: 3,871 ✭✭✭Conor108

Big shower to the northwest of here over Swords by the looks of the radar. Looks heavy.

Looks like i am done here for the time being anyway.

    Is that gonna hit Portmarnock?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,015 ✭✭✭John.Icy

Unless you have winds of 29mph, you dont have near blizzard conditions...

If the snow is heavy, it's called heavy snow, not blizzard conditions...

    Sheeeeeeesh

Yeah go ahead and open the runway and have aircraft slide off the runway killing those people instead!

The runways in russia and northern europe are subject to the same safety concerns.

    Safety first FFS.

Dont be ridiculous. If Airports in Europe and Russia reacted like Dublin Airport they would close from October until March.
