    This bout of snow is a lot worse than 2 weeks ago here in Wicklow. Not looking forward to the trip up to Dublin for work tonight. :(

    Still not a flake in clonnee, just past blanchardstown. That being said, we were pretty much the last to get snow in the last flurry. Grey skies all around however, wait and see I guess.

    Not sure about the rain today forecasts. They seem to have the snow moving nearly due west when it is infact moving south west.

    -12 and it feels it left water running all night to prevent it from freezing got up this morning turned it off by mistake and within 45 minutes it was frozen solid.

    Good enough for you :rolleyes: did you ever think of insulating your pipes instead of wasting water?

    Arrrr. Looks like gonna miss out on anything significant yet again from this front. The snow gods really taking a disliking to Kilcullen.

    On the dart from malahide. Been snowing steadily all the way in so far. Just passing raheny now. Sky very cloudy and dark overhead.

    @scubadevils

    The trains have been my saviour throughout all this. Might take a little longer than usual but much safer thanthe car and they WILL get you home too. Far too many nutcase drivers out there. I'm pretty confident behind the wheel and quite enjoy driving in challenging conditions, it's not me I'm necessarily worried about though

    Potential for snow in Dublin, Louth, Meath, Wickow, Wexford remains throughout the rest of today and tonight. Could be some serious amounts and major disruption this evening. We Dubs just need the wind to go a tiny bit more Easterly.

    That would just blow it more inland! What we have now is just a shower, there's a more potent blob behind which should come onshore soon.

    Latest NAE going for between 15-23mm of precip up the east coast by 6am in the morning tomorrow.

    10mm from 12-6pm
    7mm from 6-12am
    5mm 12-6am

    So some lucky spots could have 30cm of snow.

    Considering BlackBriar already has 6 inches, this seems more than possible, but obviously going to be hit and miss.

    Enjoy it and stay safe.
