What's leaving Wales will miss Dublin. Looks like it will hit north of Dublin.

That snow over north Wales stretches right back into the midlands of England. Someone on the east coast is going to get hammered if it starts to arc around the Irish Sea.

I also think that what's coming out of Wales looks set to hit north of Dublin. But all areas south of Dundalk and up to 15 miles inland are at risk of heavy falls today.

It's all circulating rather than moving in a straight line - see http://www.sat24.com/gb

Looks like Dublin is as good a place for it to hit than anywhere else.

It has been snowing here in D4 continuously for a good two hours now. Must say, a lot more than I expected to fall today has fallen so far . . . and its early days yet.

For those of you looking for the radars.

Black box on the left, what Dublin is getting now. Red box on right, potentially on its way (and growing).

And what is on its way to Kerry/West Cork.

I was down on the beach and the sky out to sea looks apocalyptic!

Big massive anvils, sun shining through at one stage and heavy snow, was epic.
